About & privacy

n0.wiki is a free, non-commercial IP lookup tool: no ads, no paywall, no sign-up.

Why this site exists

Most IP lookup sites give a verdict without the reasoning: one database says residential, another says datacenter, and you are left guessing. n0.wiki shows the source, fact class and confidence of every finding; when sources disagree with no majority, it lists every disagreement instead of picking one for you. See sources and scoring.

Why there is no CDN

The site has to see your real exit address and TLS handshake, because that is what it tests. Behind a CDN or reverse proxy it would only see the CDN's address. So visitors connect to our server directly.

When your IP goes to third parties

Result pages are kept out of search engines

Result URLs contain an IP (?ip=…). Search engines are told not to index any such URL; only the parameter-free information pages may be indexed.
